The dictionary defines the word "supernatural" as the following...
(adjective)
of, pertaining to, or being above or beyond what is natural; unexplainable by natural law or phenomena; abnormal.
of, pertaining to, characteristic of, or attributed to God or a deity.
For a long time now, the word "supernatural" has been associated and / or used to define the cultic or ungodly demonic activity. However, as you can see here the word "supernatural" is defined as activities that go beyond the natural laws of this present earth.
Jesus himself moved and acted in the power of the "Supernatural". Jesus did not come to establish an earthly kingdom, but rather a heavenly kingdom (The Kingdom of God) which is above and beyond the natural kingdom of this earth in which we currently live in.
John 18:36 King James Version (KJV)
36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
It is the Holy Spirit in our lives that allows us to go beyond the natural realm, so we can live in the Spiritual realm (the Kingdom of God). As believers in Christ was are taught and called to live our life by "Faith". Faith is moving in what is unknown or cannot be understood with human sight or understand with human reasoning or intellect. It goes beyond the natural laws of the earth.
Supernatural Worship is spiritual worship that allows God to manifest during times of worship, the supernatural, on earth as it is in heaven. He allows us to connect and release the sound of heaven over the earth. That's why during these times of worship many experience miracles, signs and wonders, deliverance, restoration, peace, joy, etc. We believe that just as God speaks to his people with a fresh word from heaven through the ministry of the word, He also release a fresh new song for the body of Christ each time we begin to worship Him. Perhaps it could be expressed as “NOW WORSHIP”, allowing Him to be the center of our attention!
Hebrews 11 King James Version (KJV)
1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.
3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
In fact, the first church moved and practiced this type of faith and supernatural living in their daily lives. The disciples of Jesus moved in the supernatural exhibiting extraordinary miracles, signs and wonders.
On one occasion Paul and Silas and those around them experienced Supernatural Worship as they were in a prison cell and began to sing songs of praise.
Acts 16:25-26 King James Version (KJV)
25 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.
26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.
The bible is filled with examples and moments in which the church experienced and moved in the supernatural. It's time that we begin to live this type of worship. When everything around us is dark, and our flesh cries out "NO", we must overcome the natural realm by lifting up our voices in the spirit, so that every eye can see the supernatural manifiestation of God.
