Be Free From Offense
by Psalmist Doriana Goins
It is very possible that at one time or another offense has crept into our lives. Many believers have even been separated from the body of Christ over this very issue, some have overcome this area in their lives, while others have completely overlooked this very dangerous issue in their lives.
In this reflection, I would like to share with you what offense can do to our lives. It is important to know that “Offense” operates in the flesh and not in the spirit. We are called to be “Spiritual”. As worshipers, we must executie our ministry in Spirit and in Truth.
Truth is to make us free. Sometimes we have been taught truths from God's word, but we've received them in the flesh and for this reason we've been offended.
Our spirit is teachable, but our flesh is easily offended! As followers of Christ we must be free from offense so we are able to fulfill our ministry in freedom!
May the Lord bless you this week and I hope that this reflection helps you reflect and mediate upon this area in your life.
